Living Like the lion

nat geo wild documentary The lion shows up as an apparently bold animal. So wonderful from a far distance, with its special mane sketching out it's face, courageously parading around the timberland. Every progression the vast animal takes is intense and astute, making the leaves from underneath just disintegrate. For he is the Lion, the quality of the timberland and every one of the animals around know it. For the most part he is calm, strolling coolly around, yet regularly he quits, looking from side to side, letting out a thunder. He thunders noisily, his voice reverberating off the trees, as the other littler animals peer from behind hedges. They watch in wonder, not in trepidation, and jealousy his quality and the capacity to do it in solitude.

Who is this Lion, you inquire? Also, how can it identify with you? We as a whole have encountered at some time, a man in our life who lives like that of a lion. You've surely seen them around, with their head held high as they parade through their life. They seem certain and strong as though nobody close them can shake their quality. Frequently camouflaged as presumptuous or egotistical, we tend to take a gander at them reverently, longing for a little taste of whatever it is they have.

In any case, what goes ahead inside the lion's head? What happens when the sun goes down and no other little animals are viewing? Nobody truly knows, due to the obscurity of the night, yet maybe the night is the point at which reality unfurls. Reality that even the lion could utilize a little companion from the backwoods.

It's a natural joke about how men won't request bearings, however why might somebody rather drive by four service stations, keep running into a few deadlocks and even be late for an arrangement, instead of request help? The Lion. The Lion is solid while the sun is splendid, certain about who he is and not needing assistance. However underneath the surface, the longing for help is there generally as it is in other people.

As of late I talked with a companion amidst an existence emergency, who frantically needed to contact somebody in his existence with his "story". As he pretended really calling somebody and sharing his shortcoming, I could feel his torment, yet his craving to be solid also. Part of the way through the pretend, he ceased and started to cry.

"I can't do this," he said. "I'm the lion...the solid one. Nobody can deal with my breakdown."

There was no amusingness in his voice, however, as this was genuinely how he had characterized himself. How would he be able to now destroy all that he had worked for? Who might he be in the event that he wasn't that individual?

I trust that that is the threat of being the Lion; of reliably characterizing yourself as the mainstay of quality that the animals in the timberland need. It originates from the conviction that requiring help is an indication of shortcoming, when really it takes incredible quality to transcend and realize that you require help. I have seen these Lions hit the ground with a slamming end; enduring in injurious connections, battling with addictions, or essentially feeling stuck in their life, yet not able to request help.

To the Lions I say, "Let them see you sweat, then request help." The most exceedingly terrible thing that could happen is that somebody will see your requirement for help. In all likelihood they will feel soothed that you additionally have minutes needing a hand. Undoubtedly they will be alleviated to see that you are human, much the same as they are.

So go ahead...be the Lion, yet request help along the way, in light of the fact that even the lion could utilize the quality of what the other woods animals could offer!
